Liza Bautista

Manager, Job Quest and TechWomen programs, ISS of BC

Liza Bautista has worked in immigrant settlement and employment for over 20 years with the ISSofBC, directly assisting newcomers from numerous countries, cultures and immigration categories.  Currently Liza manages TechWomen, a specialized women’s pre-employment program, and Job Quest, employment services for immigrant and refugees.  Previously she has developed, managed and directly delivered a variety of services for multi-barriered refugees, live-in caregivers, temporary foreign workers, women, youth and skilled professionals.  Service types have included pre-employment, internship, leadership mentoring, and advanced employment services immigrants and refugees. Liza also volunteers with community and grassroots organizations focused on temporary foreign worker, caregiver, newcomer settlement, integration, and social justice.
